Hmm, yes this watch does look quite splendid. I did enjoy it upon wresting it from a fellow upon a challenge regarding polo competence. Per the terms of our agreement I took the watch.

The surface of the watch when it hits the sunlight can be quite blinding for a few minutes a day--my guests did comment regarding this in midday tea of last week's cruise but I suppose it shall have to do.

I was quite disappointed, however, upon seeing the price devalued some 450$ and had spent two nights distressed that plebians might be seen on a construction site or some other place wearing such a watch. I wouldn't bear the thought of it and mailed it with utmost haste to the Ugandan village of Kitaisa. I do hope that someone there mgiht be better able to make use of it.

This is an absolutely gorgeous timepiece that I plan to keep in the family and pass on to a future generation. I've waited to comment on this watch, but now that I've been wearing it almost daily for the last 9 months, is truly has been a pleasure to own. The watch definitely has some weight, but Rolex has mastered the art of comfort that you barely feel it on the wrist. We don't have to discuss the economics of something like this as they do hold their value over time. I don't consider this to be just a wrist watch, if that was the case then a decent Casio or free toy in the cereal box would do the trick. Consider this to be an investment in yourself as you live your life and enjoy every moment that ticks by - because you never know when it will be your last.
